The MCP framing here is useful for fintech GTM because permissioning and control are not side details for regulated buyers; they are often the sale. The teams that can explain what the agent can do, what it cannot do, and how the buyer stays in control will have a much easier path through risk and procurement.

I write about that buyer-confidence layer every Monday in Selling Fintech: https://sellingfintech.kit.com/e1ec3c973c

A lot of teams will plug Claude into Gmail, CRM, PostHog, Gong, Stripe, etc. and expect magic. What they’ll get first is a brutal audit: duplicate accounts, unclear lifecycle stages, messy ownership, half-defined ICP rules, inconsistent notes etc..

That’s why I think the winner here is not the team with the most MCPs connected, it’s the team with the cleanest GTM ontology.
